After several months of planning, we finally launched the Family Fund in August 2021!
There weren’t many applications, so we tried to help as many as possible despite our funds being low. The money given was based on what was asked for and what we were able to give. We sincerely hope that we were able to help everybody as much as we could.
Finally, we were able to fundraise $1,800 and distribute these funds to assist five individuals. This assistance included helping to receive life-changing surgery, pay bills, and help pay for tuition. Here’s a breakdown of the distribution of funds:

I applied for watchtodonate’s financial assistance, hoping I would get approved, and when I did I honestly couldn’t believe it. Their money is going to be able to help me pay off bills I couldn’t afford, and will make life a lot easier with this relief. These people are so sweet, and the best way to take care of your community will always be mutual aid. I’m so appreciative, and have a lot less stress off my shoulders knowing that I can now afford things I couldn’t before. I am a disabled trans indigenous person, so life can be tough sometimes, but knowing there are people out here like this just genuinely helping people puts a lot of hope back into the world. I would like to thank you for awarding me with the family fund as it will be helpful to me for handling necessities such as groceries, bills, and medications that were difficult to obtain throughout the challenging times of the pandemic. Thank you and everyone that contributed to the fund it is greatly appreciated! š Iām approaching my final semester as a senior pursuing a computer engineering major with a mathematics minor you can include that as well as the fund helping to cover the costs for my neurologist
